Introducing the Wild Workout
12 engaging and fun exercises utilising cardio, strength, flexibility and stretching, designed to get kids active in their gardens, school grounds, parks and woodlands.
The exercise sequence is aimed at children aged two to eight with an emphasis on grown-ups joining in too. Unlike traditional sports, everyone’s a winner and you don’t need any specialist equipment or clothing.
The Wild Workout has been designed to take place outdoors – because we know of all the additional health and wellbeing benefits this brings.
Nature Nurture, with support from fitness experts LAS Mindset, have created the Wild Workout, to help parents and teachers keep children fit and active, whilst also accessing the benefits of nature. The exercise sequence is aimed at children aged two to eight with an emphasis on grown-ups joining in too. Unlike traditional sports, everyone’s a winner and you don’t need any specialist equipment or clothing.
The exercises are inspired by the behaviour and movements of animals found in parks and woodlands in the UK.
