Why not walk our trails too?

While you’re in The Cowsey explore the three new trails that have been developed by Nature Nurture in partnership with Reading Borough Council, local residents and community groups. Special thanks to Whitley Community Development Association and David Turner from Whitley Community Museum who helped us connect with local residents to record their memories. Together we’ve uncovered the wildlife, history and personal stories that make The Cowsey such a special place. We hope the trails encourage more people to enjoy this wonderful woodland, improve wellbeing through spending time in nature, and inspire everyone to care for this special place for years to come.
